Witness the best competitive eaters in the world, including world #1 Joey “Jaws” Chestnut, compete in the Ultimate Bologna Showdown presented by Dead End BBQ, Elm Hill Meats and Major League Eating.
Ten competitors, including Knox County Mayor and WWE Hall of Famer Glenn “Kane” Jacobs, will have eight minutes to consume as many slices of Elm Hill Bologna as possible in the newest addition to Major League Eating’s 2024 slate of sanctioned competitions.
The stakes are high for the eaters, who seek the Bologna Eating Champion title and their share of $10,000 in cash prizes.
Some of the top-ranked eaters in attendance will include:
#1-ranked competitive eater Joey Chestnut from Westfield, Ind.
#2-ranked competitive eater Geoffrey Esper from Oxford, Mass.
#5-ranked competitive eater James Webb from Sydney, Australia
#6-ranked competitive eater Gideon Oji from Morrow, Ga.

The event is free and open to the public at the University of Tennessee’s intramural field on Sutherland Avenue. Parking is available at the intramural fields and West High School at 3300 Sutherland Ave, Knoxville, TN.
